No, it's the players who ask for cheesy mechanics that ruin the game.
I never understand "gamesmanship". For instance, dudes sending a "gl" right before a match. Why would I wish you good luck?I'm competitive....right before a match, I want you to burn.

Because games are about having fun. The attitude of most of the people that play this game is sour and abhorrent. I think the problem is with the world to be honest.
Single player games are about having fun.....competitive games are about winning. Even in pubs, because you're trying to be the best....or you may be competing for stats (KDR, WLR), ISK, etc.
Any one of those ball sports, guys play for fun but it's competitive and people cry when they lose.
For fun, one would play campaign or co-op mode where the competiition level is 0. Or, Tetris, mario, batman, Zelda, etc
